This platform was created to share a documented experience involving Kehinde Ogunmekan, who presented an investment opportunity in a poultry farming business. Despite formal agreements and financial commitment, the promised outcomes never materialized, and the investor was left without returns or transparency.
As someone committed to Nigeria’s growth, I have always believed in contributing to the country through responsible investment — not just for personal gain, but to support agriculture, job creation, and food security.
In 2019, I was introduced to what seemed like a legitimate agribusiness opportunity involving a poultry farm. A signed investment agreement was executed, and funds were transferred accordingly. I believed I was helping build something impactful.
However, over time it became clear that communication was increasingly evasive, no measurable progress was made, and ultimately, I was left with no returns and unanswered questions. The experience has led me to believe that this was a deliberate and misleading scheme disguised as a legitimate venture.
Note that during this time, I was kind and generous to Kehinde - I gave him cash when he lost his father and also when he lost his father-in-law. I looked for opportunities for him to grow in the this field. But he paid me back with wickedness.
Kehinde Ogunmekan presented himself as an agribusiness operator seeking funding.
Investment agreements were signed and funds were transferred in good faith.
Communication stopped shortly after, and no updates or returns followed.
Multiple efforts were made to resolve the matter privately without success.
A formal complaint has been filed with the relevant bodies.

Nigeria needs investment. And we, in the diaspora and beyond, are willing to bring resources, experience, and capital. But scams like this not only hurt individuals, they also harm the country’s reputation and discourage others from investing where it’s most needed.
